Crown Lifting

Crown lifting involves the removal of branches from the lower section of the tree. This service is carried out to provide clearance for pedestrians, vehicles, buildings, patios or lines of site. This technique also allows sunlight to reach underneath for other types of vegetation ie; plants, hedges and lawn. Crown lifting is suitable for most species of tree.

How do we do it?

To carry out this procedure our trained personnel will access the lower section of the tree using a rope, harness and whatever cutting equipment is necessary, in some cases with smaller trees we may be able to carry out the work from the ground using step ladders and a long reach pruning saw. We will then commence with removing the selected branches with a regular overview to ensure that the tree isn't being over pruned. Once the correct amount has been achieved then the crown lifting procedure is complete.
