Quotations and estimates received from different Tree Surgeons vary, what is so different?
Are quotations free of charge?

Quotations and estimates received from different Tree Surgeons vary, what is so different?

We only give quotations for the work which is to be carried out as discussed at our site meeting. Therefore there are no additions to the cost unless additional works are discussed and agreed.

Are quotations free of charge?

A Site visit, advice and quotations are free of charge.

Can you give me a quotation over the phone?

Unfortunately not. Every job is different and there are factors that are taken into consideration when we do a site visit ie: access, difficulty, amount of waste, time and the amount of labour needed for the work.

Do you charge VAT?

No VAT will be added to the quotation price as we are not VAT registered.

Do we need permission to undertake any work for our tree?

It depends on whether or not you are in a conservation area and if the there is a tree preservation order (T.P.O) in place on the tree in question. If consent is required we can act as an agent on your behalf and submit the necessary Application.

Do you take away the waste?

Yes, we clear all the waste from site unless otherwise stated.

I have no access for the waste to be cleared as i have no alleyway down the side of my property, how will you do it?

Under these circumstances we can either: 1.If possible negotiate with your neighbour to gain access by removing a fence panel or, 2.Lay sheets down and cover the walls and doors, this will take more time than usual as we will have to be extra careful and the waste will have to be cut down smaller.

How can you access and work in the tree safely?

We are qualified in working from rope and harness safely. All climbing equipment is tested and certificated by an external Assessor every six months.
